Please do not become like the bitcoin community.

The r/bitcoin community is the most toxic self centered community out there in crypto, they give good competition to the old r/the_donald.

Any question or comment that doesn't celebrate everything about bitcoin will get you banned, I nicely asked how do they justify the energy waste that Bitcoin mining is doing, got downvoted into oblivion, users commented that Bitcoin is actually good for the environment ecc... I didn't even have time to answer or engage in a discussion because I got banned for that...

I'm so disgusted by the bitcoin community, it reminds me of the trump subbredit that would ban anyone for asking a source to a claim or simply for trying to understand a perspective and engage in a productive discussion. "You either agree with everything or you're banned".

I don't know if this is just the bitcoin reddit community or the community at large but this mindset is the biggest enemy for innovation in my opinion. Staying stuck in your narrow perspective, thinking that what you have is beyond perfect and doesn't need any change whatsoever, anyone that tries to questions that is not welcome and should not be able to express themselves.

Please do not become a toxic community like this, let's encourage discussion in order to highlight issues and solve problems as a result, to hopefully build something better over time.
