I have a support ticket open with Kraken at the moment but it could be days before I hear any further response.
I have made a transfer from my Binance account to my Kraken account and the addresses check out. Binance have said the transaction was fine.
After waiting over an hour post email confirmation from Binance, the funds still haven't turned up in my Kraken account. When I opened a support ticket with Kraken and gave them the transaction ID, they searched for it on the Etherscan and confirmed the transaction didn't happen. So alarm bells rang off as I don't think I had the option to pick Ethereum as the network. I'm pretty sure I picked Matic but I can't confirm now as I don't have fundss on there anymore.
Looking at polygonscan and putting the transaction ID in there, it is showing as completed, so I'm assuming the funds are sat on the MATIC network?
So are the funds lost now? Is there anyway to reverse the funds from the Kraken generated wallet?
I've been reading up on this article, but I don't know if it's the same situation as I'm in.
