Question regarding eWASM and Ethereum 2.0 implementation

Hello all,

I've been googling for information concerning the new EVM replacement. I can't find anything that tells me if eWASM has actually been implemented on Eth 2.0 or if it is still using the old EVM. I even read the merge document, but I can't find any mention of eWASM replacing EVM. Should I assume that ETH 2.0 is still using the EVM at this point?

Also, can someone point me to a good reference site that illustrates how Solidity has changed from Eth 1.0 to 2.0? I.e. what, if anything, needs to be done to migrate Solidity scripts to the new version of Etbereum?
