I keep seeing people posting here questions along the likes of, "I want to pitch a degree in bitcoin to admin. What should go in?"

Today's universities are part and parcel of the very system bitcoin is meant to fix. Most of the courses are a product of the disastrous loose fiscal policies that are destroying the West. They exist to sponge up easy money in the form of grants and student loans. The "everybody needs a degree" nonsense has turned an entire generation of kids into debt slaves.

If you want to help these kids, stop propping up universities with nonsense degrees that do nothing for them. They are propaganda machines that turn out emotional activists who waste four years of their lives serving the interests of the professional grievance class while chaining themselves to a lifetime of debt. Even the STEM departments are becoming infected with this pretend-study.

Bitcoin fixes the easy money, endless printing, inflationary cycle. Modern universities are a revolving door between politics and academia and are a pillar of that very evil system. As credential inflation and debt have ballooned, it has become clear that the way forward is for most university programs to close. Let the universities go back to the Medieval model, where only a vanishingly few elite can attend and the rest get their education on the job, through trades and unions, etc.

I regret my six years of study and degrees every time I mail that student loan check. Imagine if I had put those tens of thousands of dollars into bitcoin instead!

Get out of academia. The bubble is already starting to collapse. Don't waste your time trying to bang a round bitcoin into a square academic hole.
