Although some avatars like Nyan Cat, and Degenerate Artisman are selling at profit compared to their mint cost. The majority of avatars have little to no demand. As a result sellers have resorted to taking huge losses and selling way below mint cost to try and get rid of their avatars. Monarch Artisman is a $10 avatar still available in the shop and it's being sold for a ~50% loss. This isn't a one off case. Ember Sorcerer is a $100 avatar with a mint of 250+ and is being sold for 75% below mint, with one user taking a loss of 94% to get rid of their avatar. Eco Adventurer from the same set - mint cost of $25 selling for 75% off at $6. Shout out to the seller for their OpenSea profile name - "Buyhighselllow.." StutterVoid a veteran artist of G1, G2, and G3 has his G3 avatars selling for 50-66% below mint. With his $10 avatar selling for ~$5 and his $50 avatar selling for $20-$30. If floors will continue to be crushed and G3 avatars will continue to lose value is another question entirely.
