SBFs mother reeks of involvement in FTXs wrongdoings

I am just theorizing over how I think Sams parents, specifically his mother might have been knowingly involved in FTXs wrongdoings, and I'm curious what other think. I will say up front that most of what I will say is highly speculative and lacking any substantial evidence, but Barbara Fried seems to reek of involvement in my opinion.

Barbara Fried is a professor of Law at Stanford University and former attorney specializing in litigation and corporate law. The average salary of a Stanford professor seems to be 180k-250k a year. Barbara Fried has written about topics such as Utilititarianism, and Effective Altruism, both alleged "interests" of SBF which she claims to have "noticed" in Sam from a young age.

What I find most peculiar is that Barbara Fried is a co-founder, and until the aftermath of the recent FTX collapse, she was a key player in a political fundraising organization known as "Mind the Gap"

Mind the Gap is a relatively young silicon valley based donor firm formed in 2018 that raises funds specifically for Democratic Party candidates in the US in a very closed door and secretive fashion. Mind the Gap was described in 2020 by vox media as "Silicon Valleys secretive donor group".. despite it being relatively immature and strangely successful in its short lifetime:

Sams brother Gabe was also a member of the board holding an undisclosed position, until the aftermath of the FTX collapse, when both Gabe and Barbara Fried have both stepped down front MTG since the fallout:

Furthermore, the MTG website seems to have been taken down since the fallout:

Neither Barbara Fried or the MTG organization have been responsive to inquiries from press.

What's odd is that nobody leading this group seems to have any political fundraising experience, and it is comprised of almost exclusively Stanford Academics. The firm has also popped up within the past 4 years seemingly out of thin air. The group formed their network and starting receiving political donations preceding the 2018 election.

SBF as we all know happens to have been one of the largest benefactors the democratic party candidates, as we all know by now.. it seems odd to me that a group like Mind the Gap, led by professors of Law would be able to make such waves in political fundraising from Silicon Valley tech firms in such a short time span. This is where I assume there is some kind of connection..

Maybe I'm crazy, but is it possible SBF could have funneled capital through his own mother's political donor platform both enriching his parents and gaining political influence in the process?

I'm just spitballing here, but it seems incredibly coincidental that this firm, which clearly had an impact on the outcome of the previous election is not in some way connected to the FTX scandal. It seems strange to me that there hasn't really been any press released on this peculiar connection..

I think Barbara Fried and Mind the Gap need to be thoroughly investigated for involvement in FTXs wrong doings and corruption, because the conflict of interests seems pretty unbelievably uncanny.
