SEC does not want to guard the citizens from scammers and influencers, they are the tool of Big Finance to get in charge of the crypto sector with the regulations that are convenient only for them.

Director of SEC acts like he's on a crusade. Noone acts like that unless they have their personal gain in it. I think he actually was fond of crypto in the days he was teaching about it but the money he got offered for fighting against it was just too sweet to refuse. He should be investigated for the links with big corporations in finance. But who's gonna do that? They all belong to the rich club. I bet we would find some juicy stories if he and those around him were thoroughly investigated. He's net worth is estimated to be from forty to more than a hundred millions of dollars. He's salary doesn't justify it at all. The rich hide their wealth in many ways. Offshore storage, using those they can trust or even homeless they can easily control. The way SEC's director said he never used and doesn't own any crypto sounded like some gloomy joke because he knows he can speak such nonsense and nobody can touch him.

More hedge funds and traditional organizations offer crypto but their offer is not competitive compared to established crypto companies. That's why they want to use squish their competition. And then take charge of crypto sector in the US with regulations that are convenient only for them. Big finance is not against crypto. It's against their rivals. Those are the same entities that claimed crypto is responsible for collapse of traditional institutions. Never trust them.

We as community should become more vocal and put more pressure on the gov, social media is our friend. We should find any dubious stuff on the director of SEC and similar characters and reveal them. Scammers should be dealt with but SEC is not our friend nor it has any interest in it. Crypto needs regulations but should be treated at least with decency gambling is treated, and not like it's something even more dangerous than gambling. It's time we take action. If we're consistent we can do that.
