Hello guys,
I have a question and would like your opinion on this situation. For context, I (22F) have a relatively good job which allows me to save 15k pesos monthly (translated to roughly 260 USD). I've been doing this since Oct, 2023 in a local bank that offers me 7% APY deposited monthly. No objective or specific purpose for this saved money.
I know about cryptocurrency since 2018 i believe but not to the point of being an expert or knowledgable person about everything in this specific world, I have bought some at some point, mainly to deposit to Stake lol but it just came to my mind that maybe I can invest by monthly buying the equivalent of 260USD in bitcoins instead of just depositing it in the bank as of course our local pesos is devaluating almost daily. Slowly, yes but is still doing it.
I guess my question would be, as a person not really that much interested in becoming a crypto bro (or sis), is this idea crazy or could this actually benefit me somehow? I don't know if may be important but I live in the Caribbean. Thanks for your replies
Please, note again that im not that interested in the whole crypto world as you may think, im talking like, if it was you in my position would you just simply keep saving it on ur local bank in pesos or would you invest the same amount monthly in buying bitcoin or any other crypto.
