Solo Home Staking vs Staking as a Service

I am .3 ETH away from having the full 32 ETH required to do either solo or service staking.

The 32 are spread among different exchanges.

I am a few weeks away from having a commercial (for business only) fiber internet installed at my home.

I am not the most savvy with all of this, I guess I'm asking if anyone here has done the solo staking and if they would recommend it to essentially a "novice" when it comes to all the tech required to set it up correctly. I have been searching on google this morning and I am to the point where I think my friends on here would have better insight for me vs google.

Thanks in advance!
