Do all these "alt-coiners" understand that the unspoken reason for staking is to prevent their chosen ponzi from collapsing?
Do they understand that if you get yield for doing nothing, then your investments into the asset are actually the yield granted to the coin creators?
Bitcoin doesn't have staking and yield for good reasons, one of them being because it's not a ponzi setup to enrich it's creator(s).
We, Bitcoiners, need to do a better job of communicating the dangers of staking and yield to our fellow humans. We need to figure out better ways of getting through to them.
Thoughts, experiences, and suggestions? Any success stories out there of opening people's eyes to the dangers?
