strike BTC lightning not received by recipient

Earlier today, I’ve paid an invoice via lightning network from the strike.me mobile app. The funds were already deducted from my account and when I try to pay the invoice again, it shows “oops… this request has been paid already”. But the recipient has confirmed he has not received payment, and this was confirmed by scanning the invoice using a non-custodial lightning wallet and shows “still awaiting payment”. I’ve already contacted strike about this, should I be expecting a refund back to my account or is it taking time to complete? Any advice appreciated thank you!
