Subreddits like this and Marketcap websites have a huge power to sway the crypto markets and conversation

I feel like what crypto was supposed to be has been a bit lost in all this crypto casino type market lately. I get that each crypto is trying to do something new and I'm happy nowadays you can easily exchange coins to whatever

I'm just noticing on certain websites showing data from "most" of the crypto markets, they are now featuring things like "largest gainers" and other random statistics on the top of their site. All of these markets and other volume/use can't be fully or 100% correctly reported... it can give an idea but shouldnt be trusted as fact .

Im also noticing these multi cryptocurrency social spaces arent all about every legit crypto. No one can tell me that subreddits like this one and other stock subs dealing with millions of investors views a day are non biased. Certain posts/coins are boosted and others are silently removed. Obviously they have to in order to reduce spam and brigading, but these are humans behind the moderation and keywords that are blocked. I always feel those who put themselves in a position to never be criticised deserve it the most and deserve a small data revolution of sorts every once in a while. To totally trust a centralised* source is not really what crypto is based upon i feel. Decentralised verifiable open source non censored is where it's at. Those cryptos and communities are my fave
