Suggestion: take a moment to organize your wallets

You probably hear a lot of advice around here about writing down your seed phrases, or stamping them into a metal plate, or tattooing them on your left ass cheek… But sometimes you need to set up a wallet quickly, or for something silly, so maybe you settle for a copy/paste to notes or even just a screenshot.

Today I took the time to clean up my wallets and I was surprised at how many I found. Aside from my “main” wallets, I found a bunch of wallets that I never properly (aka securely) recorded the seed phrase for. These were all small wallets, made for airdrops or experiments or memes, so when I made them I had a bit of an “I’ll get to it later” attitude. Spoiler: I never got to it. Individually, they're all small amounts, but when you add it all up together it was worth the time and effort.

Anyway, this is your PSA to take the time to clean up those wallets. If you lost the seed phrase for one of your wallets, create a new one and send your coins there.

You don't want to end up being that guy who has $10M in a wallet somewhere but lost the seed phrase.
