Take care from reddit 'followers' they will 100% be a scam! Protect yourself by updating your account to block all incoming interactions ASAP!

So I've personally seen a new influx of accounts 'following' me in either the form of sexy business man who knows everything about crypto or sexy egirl that just loves nerdy guys and crypto investing.

I mean, they couldn't scream "I'M A SCAM ACCOUNT" any more if they tried!

This should go without saying but never hurts to be reminded if were foolish enough to interact with them:

1. They are always men.
2. They are probably Indian or Nigerian scammers.
3. They might well be about 12 years old.

Strangely despite being followed by these accounts I haven't been bothered by the obvious scam messages yet, possibly because I've locked down all my accounts settings to be left as much alone as possible or maybe it's some sort of long con where they wait for me to post something showing that I'm presently vulnerable THEN they strike.

I strongly suggest that you turn off the reddit DM option to stop anyone trying to start a conversation with you. Tbh I don't see why reddit even has this function, if I want facebook with strangers I'll just go on facebook and talk to people I apparently went to school with but I have no idea who they are!
