The Halving talk

Hello everyone ! So i feel like there is much talk surrounding the halving etc.. Much more talk than previous halvings, but i might be wrong on that one. I feel like nobody was excited about it, or cared about it before, except for the actual people in the space and the hard bitcoiners, who actually knew its significance. Nowadays the halving is all over the news, which is very weird. So my question is: Do others also remember the previous halvings and if there was any attention to them, outside of a very few people in the space ? Or i am just being delusional and it gathered attention every time ?
