Only been in Crypto since the beginning of 2021. Learning a ton of stuff every day. Early on I heard of staking, but never got into it. I finally got around to researching it and I gotta say... this shit is awesome! I like it for a few reasons:
1) The obvious reason... I get crypto just for holding crypto! I don't have a lot to stake but it is slowly growing each day. You gotta love that!
2) High rate of return. If you have ever tried to collect interest on a savings account, you know the returns are utter TRASH. Not so with staking your crypto. The percentage earned is incredible by comparison.
3) It gets my crypto out of my hands. I try my best to keep emotion out of the crypto game, but it isn't always easy. By staking my crypto, I take away the option to panic sell. So I don't worry about price as much as I used to.
My conclusion... if you're holding for the long haul, stake your crypto ASAP!
This may be common knowledge for a lot of you veterans, but some of us are rookies. Figured I would share my experience for the newer crowd.
