I recently made a post about working my arse off and being able to stack 0.14 BTC as a 21 year old. To be honest back then I knew nothing about BTC and was just lucky enough to fall on this subreddit and believe the hype around BTC... Talk about blind luck!
With Christmas around the corner I have only since managed to hit 0.15 BTC but I am back to my weekly DCAing.
I read the Bitcoin Standard as I saw someone suggest it and now I truly understand the value and hype around BTC which makes me want to keep my money there for the long term.
This realisation got me to start moving my BTC away from my exchanges which made me realise how little I actually know about the transactions, tech, and other details around BTC.
Firstly, I use phoenix wallet. I know it's not exactly cold storage but I believe it's appropriate enough considering I'm not storing millions and it still has self-custody. Again though, I'm no expert so not sure this is the best thing to do.
In the process I read about how sending your BTC in lots of small transactions is bad in the long run as it creates a load of UTXOs which affect your costs further down the line, I discovered that transactions fees fluctuate, I learned about confirmations during transactions, etc
Basically I feel like there is so much more I need to learn about BTC. Do you have any book/video/course recommendations where I can learn the ins and outs, and all the tips and tricks around BTC?
