The real stablecoin: Bitcoin. We have been sitting in a 5% price range since nearly a month now and a 1% price range since last Thursday.

In 2022 we were all fighting over what would be the best stablecoin, many collapsed during those legendary Stablecoins war, but now finally there seem to be one winner… that is… Bitcoin. Hear me out, historically there has literally never been a more “crabbish“ period for BTC than right now, we are at the historically lowest volatility BTC has ever experienced.

Want some evidence? Over the whole last month since the 23rd July, BTC literally just move from $28.6k to $30.2k, that is a $1.6k price-range, meaning the BTC price just moved at most 5.75% over one whole month, if we take the actual price closes it would probably even dip below 5%.

But now it gets even more drastic, since the last Thursday BTC has literally just been moving in a 1% price-range, from $29.2k to $29.7k, literally just a 500$ price range for nearly a whole week now. I think even many stablecoins depeg more than 1% on a regular basis. So it is actually true that all the people who came up with the argument of “BTC is too volatile to be a worldwide currency“, have largely been proven wrong, once again.

But obvious every such silence, moment of peace, is just the calm before the storm. Bitcoin has enough pent-up waters by now that will soon break through everything that stand in front.
