Things I have learned in the past 1,5 year

All Cryptocurrencies

I’ve been in the crypto market for 1,5 years now, and I’ve learned A LOT. I could’ve been rich (relative) by now. Guess what? I’m not lol

Here’s a few things I’ve learned. People say these things a lot, but somehow most of us don’t follow these rules. You learn by doing, not by reading.

  1. Be patient And I don’t mean be patient as in weeks. I’m talking about 6 months to 1 year. Probably even more but I’m not there yet.

I bought SAND at 0.15$, sold a few months later at 0,18$ because it wasn’t doing anything. I thought I could make faster money with other stuff. So I sold. FYI, sand is now ranked #37 in market cap and worth $3,2

I bought Enjin at 0.30$. Sold at 0.40 because it took too long for me. The next thing that happened is the coin rocketing towards 2.5$.

Lesson learned: be patient. You can’t make quick cash. It doesn’t exist. And for the people that have accomplished this, lucky for you! I hope you sold in time :)

  1. Sell when it’s too good to be true (this helped me a lot)

This happened to me with vechain. Made a 5X, bought at $0.04. We went on a vetrain straight to $0,2. When I looked at the 30d chart, it said +30%. It stayed at this number for a few days. Looks too good, right ? Well it was too good. I’ve never seen a $0,2 vechain ever since.

Lesson learned: if you’re not planning on holding a coin for more than 3 years, sell when it’s a 5X… just sell. It will drop, because everything drops once a month. You can always buy in lower in a few months.

  1. When a decent coin drops more than 50%, don’t panic sell. It will recover

Oh man I’ve done this way too many times. I’ve done my research, I know it’s a decent coin, and YET I panic sell. And every time the coin recovers and peaks out even higher than the last time.

Lesson learned: there are a lot of dips. And that’s okay. Don’t sell when the whole market is dropping, because it will recover. If a shitcoin drops 50%, you’re probably fucked.

  1. People don’t know shit

Yes I’ve been watching YouTube videos, yes I took some things some people said as financial advice, and yes these coins haven’t moved in 1.5 years.

Lesson learned: People will always shill coins. It’s on you what you do with it. The best thing you can do is put at least 60% in Ethereum and Bitcoin. That will secure your bags
