Today, I was telling a friend about self custody of bitcoin. You know, getting a cold wallet, generate and store seed phrases, never have seed phrases touch digital media etc. He was like is this really necessary? It is only $35k. I then told him that it is not $35k and he should proceed as if bitcoin is $1m.
I think it is a good rule of thumb. Think about how the security and privacy precautions as if bitcoin is $1m. We will get there sooner than you think.
