The meme coin sector gained nearly $5 billion since yesterday, which saw the value of meme tokens rise to $60.21 billion as the total crypto market cap surpassed the $3 trillion mark today. Although the seven leading meme tokens are still down 24-41% over the month, they’re all seeing growth today.
Official Trump (TRUMP) and Dogwifhat (WIF) are leading the rally among leading meme coins with 10.25% and 14.77% gains, respectively, following President Trump’s US crypto reserve announcement, which sent the broader crypto market into a frenzy.
AI meme tokens also saw gains of 5.62%, which pushed their market cap past $1.5 billion. However, it isn’t just established tokens that are seeing increased investor interest today, as MIND of Pepe (MIND), an AI meme token still in its presale, is gaining momentum, with over $7 million raised since its inception on January 13th.

After signing an executive order that focuses on developing a regulatory framework for digital assets in January, President Trump has now confirmed that his pro-crypto administration intends to introduce a crypto strategic reserve.
The strategic reserve will, according to Trump, consist of five leading cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA). Following the news, Trump’s own token, Official Trump, skyrocketed from $13.44 to $17.54 yesterday, and although it dropped to $15.14 since, it seems prepared to soar again.
The token’s ties to President Trump and Solana have undoubtedly influenced its rampant growth, as Solana recorded a 13.26% gain over the past 24 hours following Trump’s announcement.
TylerDexter, a crypto analyst, believes TRUMP is headed toward the $26 mark this month, which would represent a soar of approximately 71%. The expert’s bullish outlook is backed by TRUMP’s long/short ratio of 2.04 which reflects trader trust in its short-term gain potential, as only 32.87% are shorting the token.

However, the expert also believes there’s a solid chance for the token to dip to $14.60 over the next few days, highlighting the potential dip as an excellent entry point.
Meme Coin Sector Dominated by Dogwifhat and AI Meme Tokens
While the top five meme coins struggled to enter a green trend over the past month, dogwifhat started making gains in late February, which were only boosted by yesterday’s market-wide rally.
Following a 23.55% soar over the past seven days, including today’s 14.77 surge, WIF is currently priced at $0.7645, with its market cap at $764 million.
According to Alice Crypto, a crypto expert, WIF is gearing up for a 300% soar, which would see its price go past $3 by the end of March, positioning the token above its 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) of $2.04 and paving the way for further long-term gains.
