Under what circumstances would a coin randomly disappear from your wallet, with no additional transaction taking place?

Long story short I swapped one base-chain coin for another while my coinbase wallet extension was connected to uniswap. Everything went normal, and my coins even showed in my wallet. Basescan also showed the transactions as being successful.

And then POOF! the coins just seemingly evaporated. They don't show in the coinbase wallet extension nor portfolio tracking sites, but they do show up as being in my wallet on basescan, and no additional transaction since the purchase shows in my wallet.
