Unfortunate community responses

I’ve posted a couple of times on r/Bitcoin and unfortunately people seem to be very critical of anyone asking questions about BTC on here. I find it strange that people who preach about BTC want everyone to adopt it and use it, and then when people have honest questions about the technology, and it is a cryptologic technology, they get treated like garbage on this subreddit. So which is it? Do you want people to learn about BTC and ask questions or do you want to criticize anyone who knows less than you do about it? Maybe the moderators can work on stopping the trolls who try’s be shut down questions people have. Until then, I’m off to find a better subreddit or forum to talk about BTC with people who actually want to discuss the merits of the technology instead of criticize people who ask questions.

EDIT: thanks for the helpful suggestions like /bitcoinbeginners and some of the other forums people suggested. Appreciate some helpful feedback. Obviously there will always be trolls in any forum, I just felt like this forum should be a place where people who care about Bitcoin help one another. For me that’s one of the draws of bitcoin, liberating the masses to do what we please. Thanks for all of you who have been kind!
