Using Binance as a foreign student living in the US

I'm currently living in the US as a student from a foreign country.

If I use binance.com, it detects my IP and says I'm supposed to use binance.us but I can't use binance.us because I don't have a ssn.

I tried using a vpn and I was able to make an account in binance.com and complete the intermediate verification using my home country's ID.

Will I be fine if I continued using binance.com with a VPN? Is there any alternative?
