So I made a post on this other sub because I want to order online with bitcoin. All merchants use a KYC payment processor. None accepts bitcoin directly.
I've experienced this before. One time I spent .03btc in a shop that claimed to accept bitcoin. The transaction got confirmed on the blockchain, but their processor refused it without justification. They refused to give me the product, and I had to register at their exchange to get my refund, with KYC and withdrawal fees of course.
This is the experience newcomers are going to get if we let processors get in the way of P2P transactions.
