On May 22, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz agreed to pay 10,000 Bitcoins for two delivered Papa John's pizzas.
These 10.000 Bitcoins would today be worth $395,000,000.00 +
But do you really think he would've held that over the course of 10-12 years? Or would he panicked earlier and sold at $100, $1000, or even $5000. Even if he sold at 5k that isn't nearly close to 395M.
He could beat himself up as much as he wanted but that 10,000 Bitcoins is never coming back into his hands. You can't control something in the past, but you can control your future steps and decisions.
You as well hear about people who put a few hundred $ into a meme coin and make 100k, but you don't hear about people who lose all their life savings and are left with $1 to their name. And trust me it's way more of those than the ones who make 100k.
Don't beat yourself up for missing out. There will be more opportunities, and mainly don't get fooled by social media.
If you were in his shoes what would you do?
