I don’t know about you but I’ve been swiping my credit card for years, online and offline, in no small amount. I always fully repay the statement balance to avoid any interest payable.
In recent years I’ve learned that the credit card networks are generally ripping off the merchants left and right by seducing the consumers with all sorts of reward programs. on the flip side the merchants take a big hit on their operating margin and that’s basically infrastructure bullying.
I know Jack Mallers is working on something to solve this and I hope it will soon become a reality, globally. We can do away with VISA MASTERCARD or AMEX and all those rewards for a little justice to our societies.
