What are your recommendations for improving your skill as a trader?

In your own opinion what would you say is the next step for someone who has been practicing future trading via paper trading on trading view?

What I've noticed is that with paper trading, there's a lot of confidence that I know what I'm doing, but I'm not sure it would be the same if I'm using real money.

A good number of people have recommended just getting into it but starting very small, while others that use the same exchange that I use have mentioned starting with the trading showdown there, and taking advantage of the rewards to even increase my capital, as it provides a "structured environment" for me to test my strategies.

There are people here that have even suggested that I stick to paper trading till I get enough confidence, although now that I'm writing this, I realize it might have ust be sarcasm.
