What do strict BTC Maxis think of smart contracts?

I have a question for the severe BTC Maximalists, the "everything but BTC is a scam" folks:

What is your opinion of smart contracts, the idea, entirely devoid of a coin and implementation, but simply the idea of a "world computer"?

Personally I find BTC to be a fantastic store of value and I think that I readily replaces other store of value mechanisms. I hold mostly BTC for good old getting rich (or at the very least not dying by inflation). However, I also think that the "world computer" is a really cool idea, and that things like smart contracts, and tokenizing real world ownership (from real estate to whatever) to be an entirely different paradigm that is novel in and of itself.

What does the strict BTC only crowd think? Is there any utility there? If not, why not? If so, why are you a strict BTC maximalist?
