What do you think is the thing about crypto that nobody seem to understand?

We know that crypto is a pretty vast domain with many technicalities. Some of us are more knowledgeable than others, or preffer to learn more about some specific areas of the industry.

I wonder what is in your opinion something about crypto that eludes people? It can basically be about a lot of aspects, ex: markets, tokenomics, investor's psychology, adoption, exchanges or anything that makes you wonder why the avarage r/cc member or investor don't know or really understand.

I am really curious and i think this could be an opportunity to learn new things from each other or have a nice debate.
