What factors make you confident that your favorite project won't end up in the crypto graveyard?

Simple question.

There are a few alts I like, but I'm mostly interested in Bitcoin (widespread, liquidity, market dominance, and spread of value) and Ethereum (the birthplace of smart contracts, crucial to DeFi).

Aside from these two, we all have our favorite altcoins that we think will last.

Even so, given the rise and fall of cryptocurrencies, this is a valid concern. Along the way, natural selection left a trail of dead projects.

What makes you think your preferred altcoin won't go the same route?

Is it the tech, team, community? Or is it something else?
