On https://jochen-hoenicke.de/ I see a sudden drop from 200MB to 0 in one day. If 1 block takes off 1MB and takes 10 min on average, then even with no new broadcasted transactions, it could only drop plus minus about 144MB in a day, a sudden drop from 200MB to zero just seems implausible (and the drop was instant, not over a whole day). So I guess either the website got wiped on that day and didn't recover those tx or did the actual mempool wiped?
