What to do if your physical seed phrase+ hardware wallet is stolen.

So hypothetical situation here but let's say someone robs your home and steals your seed plate as well as your hardware wallet. No worries for me because the 25th word is engraved in my mind so there's no risk of funds being drained however I now no longer have the ability to generate a new wallet with said phrase because I don't know what it is anymore.

What can someone do to mitigate this risk? Am I missing a piece of the puzzle here? It seems like if this situation were to happen you'd be shit out of luck because without those 24 words there is no recovering that wallet.
