Sometimes because we are within the closed community it is easy to think that crypto has already achieved mass adoption, but unfortunately we are still far from there.

For those who don't know, an estimated 4.2% of the world's population, which is 420 million people (I swear I didn't make the numbers up) Invested in crypto as of today.

So we haven't achieved mass adoption yet, but maybe in the next bull market we will.

BlackRock, WisdomTree, Fidelity And many others have applied for a BTC spot etf.Some are expected to be approved in 2024, around the time many believe the bull market will begin.

By the way, in Europe today they approved one as Jacobi Asset Management Launch Europe's First Bitcoin ETF.

Institutional money may be what is missing to get mass adoption.

Entered consciousness in 2020 and since then has not stopped improving, according to many DeFi will one day replace the traditional financial system.

Along with many security breaches, the sector continues to attract a lot of money, and if they find a way to simplify things and create a more user-friendly interface, DeFi can definitely attract mass adoption to crypto.

Bitcoin

If there is anything that has done the job so far, it is of course Bitcoin.

It is very possible that mass adoption will not come from everything around, but from the main thing itself, which is of course Bitcoin.

An exponential increase in the price of Bitcoin will create a media buzz and thus new people will enter the crypto space.

It may very well be all that is needed.

Opinions on this matter are very divided, but if you look at the past, crypto games can definitely be the reason for massive crypto adoption.

In 2021 Axie Infinity burst into consciousness and attracted over 1.3 million users alone.

So it's true, the games are still boring and without the financial incentive there aren't too many reasons to get into the game, but the more money is invested in the sector, the faster the progress will be.

What better way could there be to attract people than through fun?
