Why is no one talking about ATOM?

So I don't know alot about ATOM/Cosmos. But coinbase was highlighting it as a staking coin that earns 5% and I had about 700 dollars sitting idle and figured what the heck. I liked that staking ATOM didn't lock me out like eth2.0 does and if things went south I could pull my money. Well I ended up buying in around 11 dollars and forgot about it. Less than a month later I happen to check on it and it was up to 25! So I took my win and sold. Once it dipped back down in the high teens I bought more. And now last time I checked it's above 40! Whatever this project is its showing a lot of growth. And I just thought it weird that the world of reddit has little to nothing to say about it.
