Why we really need cryptocurrencies

54% of the worlds population lives under an authoritarian regime. Another 39% in flawed democracies. Those are the people that should use and have access to decentralized cryptocurrencies.

This is what everyone forgets while discussing Bitcoin and other currencies. This is what the media ignores when talking about energy consumption and criminality. The rich countries decide about proof of work or private wallets, which ultimately doesn't concern the technology per se, but influences the popularity and distribution of cryptocurrency knowledge. We all have to put our nice investments aside sometimes and learn about the situation around the world. Spread the words if someone comes around with their superficial arguments and remind them; the majority doesn't live in freedom.
