A basic feature saved me from loosing $2k in ETH

I stupidly copy pasted the wrong address for a transfer and thought I sent $2k ETH to a ADA wallet on my preferred exchange - which to my awareness is RIP ETH. The exchange I use (not naming so people don’t think I’m a shill) has a verification step which goes to your inbox for approval before the funds are transferred. I forgot this and thought I ripped $2K out of stupidity and just accepted its death. Needless to say in my email inbox a few days later I found the auth request I hadn’t completed and low and behold the ETH was sitting in limbo waiting for the approval. I cancelled the transfer and didn’t lose anything. My anus unclenched after a few days of solid squeezing. Just a featured appreciation post for some of the better exchanges out there. Also a public reminder to not crypto when you’re fatigued.
