A few months back when I was still new to the whole P2P Trading business I tried selling some ETH for fiat to help myself cope with the economic crisis my country is going through. (mainly to fill up on gas and pay rent..)
I hoped onto binance p2p and chose bank transfer as my preferred method (since doing it directly has a conflict with my card) and went onto "Selling ETH - $" and found a guy.
He tells me to trust him and go through after he sends me "picture proof" that he sent the amount.
I trusted this proof and sent the amount.Waited a few days for the transfer, and nothing. Tried talking to support: "contact the authorities". He up and ran..
No matter what the other person tells you, do not, under any circumstances, send the crpto until you completely, and I stress this, see the amount at your disposal.
Sometimes they will "make a fool" out of you and use "convincing" evidence to get you to release. Don't.
Although Binance did say that you should not send the funds before receiving the amount, I did so
I need to stress that nothing can be salvaged..
