Already in 2020, the finance giant Fidelity said that investing in Bitcoin now is like “investing in Facebook when it had 50 million users“. They were looking to enter Crypto a while ago.

Obviously today we all got the breaking news of this year after the largest asset-manager in the while world, BlackRock, suddenly filed a Bitcoin Spot ETF and that just after the SEC was attacking all fronts of Crypto. They were then closely followed by a handful of other big financial giants of the likes of Vanguard or Fidelity filing in Spot ETFs themselves and even offering custody services.

So many may think that just now those big asset-managers got to know the values of Crypto and especially Bitcoin, for example as just now the BlackRock CEO Larry Fink went on multiple interviews where he basically was shilling and praising Bitcoin and sometimes even all of Crypto.

But that is not true at all, in reality they began to like Crypto a lot earlier:

Here we have an excerpt of a statement by the Fidelity Digital Assets, all the way back in July 2020 which was before even the previous Bitcoin bull market began and actually where the whole world and all financial assets were still fighting with the impact of the Covid pandemic. Still they saw the potential of Bitcoin all the way back then, comparing its growth to Facebooks early growth stages at 50 million and today we know that Facebook went on to have billions of users and be used by literally everyone with internet.

So it is safe to say that those big giants with their trillions of dollars already had a ton of interest and had already seen the potential of Bitcoin, before the previous bull market even began. This changes a lot, as we can not actually expect that many of them probably already have their pile of BTC ready to pump and will actually do everything so that it does indeed pump. We are actually having the backing of the most powerful companies right now.
