Binance has stated that derivatives products are to be disabled for Germany, Netherlands, and Italy.
I live in the UK. For now as I understand it, trading with margin in the UK on binance.com is still fine.
The problem is, I use a VPS based in Germany (Contabo) to access Binance API. I was trying to set up new isolated margin accounts for a few pairs I haven't used before and it was not allowed.
So a couple of questions,
(1) is it fine to use VPS from a different country to access binance.com? It had never even crossed my mind prior to this, as VPS servers are located all over the world
(2) if I wish to continue using a VPS is the only solution to get a UK based one? Contabo only offers servers in Singapore outside of the US and Germany - is it fine to migrate to Singapore and continue as I was?
It's a bit of a pain since I am based in the UK and I am fully KYCed - really I don't want to mess about migrating at all (there's tons of data etc.), but there seems no other solution.
Although I can understand why IPs from certain jurisdictions are banned from certain actions, surely if you're KYCed then as far as API is concerned there should be some understanding that VPS servers are based all over the place.
