Personally I’m known in my circle as the crypto guy since 2013.

Bitcoin changed the way I look at my money, finances, inflation, monetary supply, governments for the better. In school we aren’t taught about money and finances.

In western society we are for the most case privileged compared to 3rd world countries who had governments for the most part destroy purchasing power through central bank debasement. People are waking up due to Covid and history is a good teacher. Betting on bitcoin is buying long term puts on the Fed continuing to print money and devalue it over time. It is the best asymmetric bet for all of society.

I’ve sadly learned not to speak about crypto unless someone brings it up, or can have a mature conversation about practicality, use cases, finances, economics, currency and more.

In bull runs “friends” connect with you and in bear runs they run away and some may even scold you.

I always encourage those that may be interested to do their own research and take the time to understand each project.

I personally lost large sums of crypto back in 2014 (Crypto exchange owner fled) and 2022 (Celsius). It can happen to veterans in the space. Not your keys not your crypto. Losing that crypto and opportunity cost has effected my mental health. However I am to blame and will rebound from my mistakes .

The most important person you can trust is yourself and cold storage (and even then implement good security and don’t get careless).

We’ve all been impacted in some way with crypto. The most important thing is sticking with it during the good and bad times. Especially the bad times such as now to add for the future. The best thing is to have a plan and take profits during euphoric phase. To combat even our own greed.

I still believe in crypto to revolutionize the world and transition us into the digital age. We are still incredibly early, and in 5,10 years you will be rewarded with your patience and fortitude.
