Beware that a bunch of the recent bullish or bearish statements on Crypto are just by some attention-seekers and should not be taken seriously.

It is truly very new for all of Crypto that we, for the first time, have a bear market where Crypto is still getting very healthy coverage by the media, even though prices and demand have significantly fallen. Guess in 2021 Crypto reached a level of "no-return" when it comes to hype, there is always some kind of hype about Crypto even in the most boring times.

We can just see that as even after ever 5% jump, while we remain over 50% down from the ATH, is still trending on Twitter. That surely was not the case with the bear market in 2018.

But that kind of mainstream adoption also comes with a trade-off, which is that we even have hype-driven and plainly false news about Crypto in a bear market. Especially by attentions seekers.

Seemingly bullish news by a former SEC employee, that probably has not much effect on the markets

Here I took the example of an EX-SEC chairman talking bullish about Bitcoin and how the pending ETFs will surely get approved. I would take his words with a ton of salt, as he is no longer a direct government employee and basically has no power in the final decision here. He is just talking in front of the mainstream media to get attention because he exactly what will get him into headlines.

A bunch of retired politicians/business man are talking very positively about Crypto, which is because they want to get attention for free while they are retired. Maybe to launch their next book and have good sales or so. Fact is that those people are just attention-seekers and will do or say anything for it.
