Bought my first cold wallet. Blockstream Jade.

So after much research I bought a blockstream jade, I’ve set it up and was expecting an option for a 24 word seed phrase but it gave me 12 by default.

I’m assuming it’s too late to change? And that I should have gone advanced set up with QR code? I guess I’m asking can I opt to generate a further 12 words and also curious if people think 12 words is enough.

Also thoughts on multi sig? Feels like there’s so much force on extra security with BTC but are people just a little bit too paranoid maybe? My coin was on an exchange for 6 years and I never had a drama but when you start talking cold storage it’s pass phrases and multi sigs are a must. I feel like there pros and cons either way so yeah interested to hear your thoughts!
