Coinbase not sending BTC and hiding posts

This was a misunderstanding. NOTICE ACH transactions can hold up debit purchases, more explanation below.

Well, it's happening.

Looks like Coinbase is either locking up sends, at least from my account, or cannot properly code to track holds vs non-holds.

I have far more USD/BTC in my account than holds but they are allowing me to send none of it out.

No support, of course, no explanations on any of the balance or hold screens.

I've had an account with them since 2013, over a decade now!

I posted on r/Coinbase and they hid my post as far as I can tell. Not showing up when sorted by new and my notification for their automoderator reply said "this post no longer exists" even though I can see it. Between Reddit and Coinbase I don't think there's a lot of competent developers.

Which is... interesting. If you have pending ACH transactions and you make a debit purchase, the debit purchase is not available until the ACH transactions have cleared. This is surprising because the dollar amounts of your ACH relative to your debit does not matter. I'm assuming they are concerned you'll ACH and then debit against the same account and run away with funds that cannot be clawed back.

Somehow I've never run into this before but I believe it since if I'm using debit I'm desperate for fund availability so that doesn't overlap with ACH often.
