Disclaimer : I do know that these are free methods so I shouldn't keep very high expectations to earn through them , nor complain about it. But it's just my opinion , and I'd understand if you feel the opposite .
As a student , I don't really have much money to spend on trading Crypto , so I'm trying to earn some free coins which I can slowly use to start trading with .
Also , if I've missed out on some methods , or if you know some better methods , please comment below so we can try them out .
So here are the commonly stated methods of earning free crypto, and why I feel they're overrated or not worth it .
1) Brave Browser :
It's an amazing browser , and I have 0 complaints regarding the browser . But as a source of earning , is it really that good ? I feel it's pretty overrated considering that you can barely earn $0.1 a day for like 5 hours of usage . I know it's $0.1 a day more than we'd ever earn with Chrome or any other browser , but I don't think it's worth the time if you are in it just for earning some side income .
2) Crypto Royale :
Low payouts , kind of laggy and a pretty annoying game . I heard it was easier to win and get more rewards before , but currently , it's not as good . You can barely earn $0.2 after playing it for 1 hour straight . Not worth it imo .
3) Axie Infinity :
You need to spend a few hundred or thousand dollars to start earning a decent amount . The scholarship programme allows people to play for others , so that way you can avoid the initial investment atleast , and split the profits . Unfortunately , finding an employer to play for isn't very easy as people from Philippines and Venezuela alone make up almost 50% of the user base , and they're the most sought after by employers . But , compared to all the other free crypto services , this is definitely the most rewarding . And if you do pay the initial amount , you'd need to spend more than 5 hours a day playing the game to earn $10-20 . (But if you employee multiple scholars , you can make a lot more)
4) Airdrops :
To be eligible for bigger Airdrops , you need to perform a certain amount of transactions with the coin , or have a minimum amount of that coin in their wallet , and for students or people from poorer countries , that's not easily possible .
5) Presearch :
You earn by searching for stuff with their search engine . You can earn a maximum of about $2 a day for 32 searches . Comparatively low effort , and better than other options , but it's again not very profitable .
6) Reddit Moons :
Honestly , I'm not quite sure about how it works or how much you can earn , so I'm not criticising it .
Edit : Moons are worth it
