Crypto.com is changing reward structure for VISA users

I just received this email:

Dear Valued Customer,

As part of our continual efforts to enhance our product offerings, please be informed that Cardholder CRO Staking will replace CRO Lockup for your Crypto.‌com Visa Card on 4 December 2023, 03:00 UTC. This enhancement will enable you to earn compounding Cardholder CRO Staking rewards, while enjoying the same card benefits.

The following changes will go into effect on 4 December upon acceptance of the Cardholder CRO Staking Terms and Conditions (‘T&Cs’):

• You will receive weekly Cardholder CRO Staking rewards, which will replace your CRO Lockup rewards. Refer to the table below for the estimated reward rates for Cardholder CRO Staking.
• The Cardholder CRO Staking rewards will be credited weekly to your Cardholder CRO Stake in your Crypto Wallet, thus compounding your earnings.
• If you decide to unstake your CRO, it will undergo a 36-day unbonding period. During and after this period, your CRO will not be eligible for Cardholder CRO Staking rewards, and you will lose benefits, such as purchase rebates and higher interest in Earn. However, you will still enjoy non-staking Crypto.‌com Visa Card benefits, including up to 2% back on spending and airport lounge access for select card tiers.
