Do you have a friend who "made it" because of Crypto?

I am curious how many, if any, of you guys know someone that has made it big because of Crypto. I will kick off; Around 2014-2015, there was a good friend from my village who was rambling about BTC all the time. He was around 19 and invested all his money from his sidejobs into BTC. It was before the mainstream media attention and people in my village kinda saw him as a weirdo as he was really vocal about why BTC was the next big thing, while everyone thought it was just a scam/fluke.

Later around 2017/2018 crypto boomed and occured in the mainstream media a lot. People in the area that laughed at him first were now also curious and I know some of them invested, purely based on what they saw happening to this friend. His portfolio was high in six figures back then and I know people gossiped about it a lot. Couple of years later we unfortunately have no contact anymore, last thing I know is he quit crypto altogether and moved out of town as he was aware of gossip and I knew he hated that. Hard to judge whether this person is happy now, but I am certainly aware of the drawbacks of being known of "that rich crypto dude", especially in smaller communities where there is not much happening. I think in a city as big as New York no one would bat an eye. From our last conversation I know he made enough to be financially independent, but it seems it also took a toll on his emotional state, as the feeling of being an outcast seems to persist.
