How (I think I know) bitcoin will at some point gain mass adoption

There is one distinguish characteristic (I believe) that every non-bitcoiner possesses. And that is a lack of a "deep dive" into bitcoin. Ill-informed, parroting surface level detractions of bitcoin the asset and network.

bitcoiners on the other hand have done the research and to a certain degree understand the potential of bitcoin

Am I wrong? Have any of you had a real discussion with a non-bitcoiner where you can tell they have researched bitcoin in depth? They have resarched it and say I think this has no chance of gaining mass adoption. Becuase that's the conclusion you must come to to not own some bitcoin. The value of bitcoin if mass adoption were to happen would be massive. So, even if there is an infinitesimal chance mass adoption will occur, you would still logically own some bitcoin.

To not own bitcoin, you need more than reasonable doubt that it won't work. If there is any reasonable doubt, than you got to own at least a little bitcoin.

To me (and this could be wrong and more a reflection of confirmation bias), but the well-informed I would assume would be right more often than those who don't even take the time to understand a topic.
