Humor me

Truly you have to...cuz the number of things I read on crypto is so wild that I hope that some of you in this sub can enlight me or troll me.

Crypto has not been having a good day for days or months. I check Coinbase stock price as a proxy for overall crypto sentiment in the US. This last Friday was pretty bad. Well, almost everything was bad this last Friday.

Now, one of the things I heard in ages is that Bitcoin is indeed analogous to gold when it comes to safe heaven. When markets panic capital flows to gold. Skeptics park in gold. I mean gold has been up good and many of us use gold as a proxy for fear, defense or something is cooking or looming for the economy, but I have not seen that massive flow of capital moving to bitcoin. If bitcoin truly is an alternative to gold why there is not a more pronounced move % wise? Humor me. Gold is hedge for inflation and I did not see moves to bitcoin as I have seen to gold. Do People still need to be convinced of that? What about institutional investors ? Aren't they convinced?

Then I read about two hedge funds pouring tons into the Bitcoin ETF. You know, someone has to spark AGAIN that move and , I think this is a whole scheme to attract retail investors and drop them like a hot potato. I say that cuz those who park in gold are skeptical about Bitcoin and they know theirvstuff. I expected bitcoin to follow gold massively.

Am I wrong ?

Then I read about the dollar crisis that will be sparked by reducing the rates. LOL hard here. That is a ploy to convince you to park more in Bitcoin. Dollar crisis is supposedly there with the current level of US debt and how quickly it is growing. It is not sustainable AT ALL, but the USD holds pretty good still.

I also think that once the FED starts cutting rates all central banks around the globe will have to follow suit cuz they cannot afford having their currencies strengthened. Again, am I wrong?

From a macro point what's hindering Bitcoin? In my view the macro is there. Is it not?
