Just bought Bitcoin… on Venmo… big mistake.
I just bought 5k in Bitcoin on Venmo NOT knowing you cannot transfer out to other wallets. So then I had to convert that back into my Venmo balance. I ALREADY just ate $140 in blockchain fees, now will I have to pay taxes on this?
This is confusing because Venmo didn’t tell me I couldn’t transfer Bitcoin and now I had to enter my tax information in….
Do I have any recourse? I’m so frustrated
